In order to welcome Veronica Arsanty’s visit to Jakarta, my friends [Kizz, Elvi, Kemal, Nabil] and I planned to spend a whole weekend with her. On Friday [August 3] with full knapsack-after working from Bogor, I went to Jakarta. Our meeting point was Kizz’ office at Wisma Mulia, Gatot Subroto. There were Kizz, Elvi, and Nabil waiting for me. Around 8pm, we headed for Menteng. On the way [in front of Izzi Pizza, Menteng] Veronica + Diah joined us. Our destination was Shisha Café [an Arabian restaurant] for dinner. Later on, Edu, Herman, and Kemal came.
Our next destination was Hard Rock Café. Titi Suwondo + her friend [I forgot his name] had been there. We were rather tipsy and enjoyed being at the café till 2am. Almost all of us danced and sang.
I was home for Nabil’s place.
I woke up at 9am [Saturday, August 4.] I prepared myself to go out. My first destination was Jorgy’s house in Slipi. At a glance, Jorgy offered me to listen to Symphonic Progressive Rock songs from… [I forgot the name of the band.] He was writing the review on that band as a foreigner asked him to write it for his blog. Then, we attended the wedding party of Yoshi+Astri at Patra, Simpruk. Along the way to the party, we listened to Loudness, a Rock Band from Japan. In fact, Jorgy is a big fan of Loudness. At the party, I met many friends with their own style there. It’s bloody fantastic to see them. After taking pictures [as usual] at the wedding party, my friends [Jorgy, Anya, Festi, Ney, Isky, Buncil, Ditta, Leo] and I had a post-lunch at Pancious, a Pancake House. Damn! Anya + Festi are really born to EAT. We spent our time at Pancious till 4pm. Jorgy took me to Sudirman, meanwhile the others headed for Senayan City.
I went to Aquarius, Mahakam to find out the new release albums then was home for my cousin’s house in Bekasi. I was so tired!!!
There, I was happy playing with my nieces.
In the morning, I woke up at 9am [Sunday, August 5.] I was so lazy to do everything. By the midday, Kizz sent me SMS in order to meet at Harris Hotel, the place Vero stayed during in Jakarta. After lunch, I went there. Kizz, Kemal, and Vero waited for me. First, we had planned to go to Kebun Raya Bogor for taking pictures – yet because of the time, we cancelled to go to Bogor. Finally, we decided to go to Situ Lembang in Menteng. By the twilite, we went to Plaza Senayan to play bowling. Dekil joined us then. It was the first time for me to play the real bowling! Heehaw heehaw heehaw…
In the first session, I was the runner up but in the last session I was in the lowest position. Poor me!
We ended to play bowling at 9pm, then went to Gang Gang Sullai, a Korean restaurant at TIS for dinner. After that, we dismissed! Kizz and Veronica were home. Kemal and I went to Bogor, he took me to Baranang Siang. I was directly home with FEVER!
