Berpuisi!

Ah, sekarang ada hal baru yang mengusik dan menggelitik diri gw. Sesuatu yang sebenarnya dulu pernah [bahkan sering] gw lakukan, yaitu membuat puisi atau berpuisi.

Sudah seminggu ini tangan kanan gw merasa gatal sekali untuk merangkai huruf demi huruf menjadi kata-kata, dan kata-kata tersebut gw rangkai lagi jadi kalimat, seterusnya jadi bait-bait puisi yang gw rasa bermakna.

Tepat sembilan hari gw bergabung dengan sebuah mailing list bernama Bunga Matahari atau BuMa, sebuah milis yang beranggotakan para penyuka atau penikmat puisi. Wadah ini mempunyai moto, "... semua bisa berpuisi."

Sejak bergabung, hampir setiap hari gw mengirim puisi hasil karya gw. Temanya beragam dari hal-hal yang agak berat sampai hal-hal yang terlalu ringan. Kadang  puisi gw  merupakan reply dari puisi teman-teman yang lain.

Yang paling menarik adalah ketika puisi-puisi yang gw kirim mendapat tanggapan dari yang lain, walau tanggapan mereka mengandung unsur canda. Dan, gw dengan senang hati membalas tanggapan tersebut.

Ahh... gw ingin berpuisi dulu ya!

I'm bloody tired!      

As I arrived from office on Friday at 2pm, I cleaned my new lodging house. Then till nite, I took some fuckin' things there. At nite-after watching Indonesian Idol- LOL, I was helped by my friend, Murdianto. After all, I took a bath and again watched TV.

On Saturday, I woke up late because I was tired. Again, I worked hard to take my stuff to the new place. I did it by myself, although there were some hands willing to help but I refused their help. I worked till 5pm because my cousins, my aunties, my nieces would come to visit me from Jakarta. Then, I had dinner with them.

At nite, I watched TV till midnite and went to bed. I slept in condition of  rather empty room. It's really sweet!

Today, I woke up late! I enjoyed my morning in my old room. I was so lazy to carry my stuff to my new place. I let myself listen to music from my CD player, I listened to Queen, my most favorite band. Before midday, I watched Oprah on Metro TV and listened  to 10 Kita at Hard Rock FM.

By lunch, I carried my stuff to the new place, then took a nap after lunch. At the afternoon, the sons of the owner of the lodging room gave their hands to carry my cupboard. Thanx to them!

In the twilite, I took a bath. Then, went to supermaket for mineral water, chocolate Van Houten, bread, nuts, and ice cream.

Now, I'm writing  this at internet kiosk near the supermarket. I already ate Padang satay for my dinner.

Tomorrow I'm off, I have to move to my new place at all! So, there'll be still busy and tired tomorrow. Yet, I say that I'm not an I don't like Monday man anyway!                                                           

This morning, actually I woke up late but thanx God, I was not late to work! Last nite, I went to supermaket to buy mineral water, bread, nuts, and chocolate Van Houten. I really wanted to eat chocolate within this week. It's inspired with Soe Hok Gie in the film 'GiE' when he ate Van Houten in the mountain. LOL... Then, I watched Robbie Williams Live on my pirated DVD. It was amazing!

This morning, I played basketball with my office mates in the office square. I always do it once in two weeks in the Friday morning. I enjoyed the game although my right leg was hurt. After that, I had my breakfast in the canteen - not as usual - I didn't eat egg, I'm afraid of the issue about 'Flu Burung' that spreads in this country now. Last nite, I didn't have chicken for my dinner either.

After breakfast, I was back to work. I prepared my tasks for presentation next week because I want to take day off on Monday. Then, I did Friday prayer in the mosque near the office.

Now, time goes to 1.55pm. I want to go home earlier to clean up my new room.

Hari ini  gw masuk kerja setelah kemaren gw cuti satu hari dan libur dua hari: jadi tiga hari tidak masuk kantor!
Tadi pagi gw menyiapkan arsip-arsip yang bakalan digunakan utk presentasi [yg entah kapan] kepada bos besar. Kemudian, seharian gw habiskan waktu untuk membaca Kompas, Koran Tempo, dan Republika edisi Sabtu sampai hari ini.
Gw masih berasa cape setelah 4 hari dalam proses pindahan tempat kost. Tadi pagi gw meninggalkan kamar baru dalam keadaan 'after tsunami', masih sangat berantakan!

Oh ya, hari Minggu malam sepulang dari warnet di depan pasar swalayan tempat gw belanja, kantong belanjaan gw ketinggalan disana yang hanya berisi makanan dan minuman. Gw menyadari itu setelah berada di angkot  ke tempat kost tengah malam. Terpaksa gw balik lagi. Sesampai di rumah, gw hanya nonton TV dan dengar musik sebelum tidur.

Hari Senin pagi gw bangun sekitar jam 6, terus nyalain radio. Gw dengar Good Morning Hard Rockers Show dalam tidur gw. Gw benar-benar bangun jam 9 pagi. Santai sebentar terus gw lanjutkan mengangkat barang-barang gw yang masih bersisa ke tempat yang baru. Gw dibantu oleh anak Ibuk kost memasang antena. Gw kerja sampai sore, kemudian keluar beli kasur baru dan kipas angin. Malamnya  gw pindahan secara total ke tempat baru dibantu Murdianto.

Ketika bersih-bersih di kamar baru sembari Murdianto masangi kipas angin, gw merasa ngga enak. Di warung nasi tempat biasa makan ada beberapa pria melihat-lihat ke dalam kamar gw. Ada 'sesuatu' yang lain yang gw rasakan, apalagi kamar gw ngga ada gordynnya. Akhirnya, sebagai penutup jendela kaca yang cukup besar, gw pake  seprei bendera Amerika.

Kemudian, gw undang Eddie dan Erwin untuk nginap karena gw rada-rada takut kalo terjadi perampokan. Halah...

For me to spend 3 days off is something unusual in these cities [the places where I live: Bogor and Jakarta. I usually spend my long holiday in my hometown for lebaran or  go somewhere else. Yet, last weekend [the three days of holiday] I spent in Bogor and Jakarta only. Actually, I had a plan to go to Jogja Thursday nite with my office mates. One of my friends, Dudi got married there on Saturday. In the last hours-on Thursday afternoon my trip to Jogja was cancelled due to Deni. He coudn't join because his son was sick, meanwhile he was one of the drivers who drove us to Jogja. So, our trip was cancelled!

After work-Thursday nite, my division mates and I were treated dinner at Baraya Restaurant-Bogor by Sigit. He already graduated from his postgraduate study. Then, I went to internet kiost to browse, check my emails, and chat!

On Friday morning, I wake up late. As usual, I made my room by drying my mat-bed covers, etc. I had brunch, took a bath, followed Friday pray. In the afternoon I watched TV, listened to music, washed clothes, etc, etc!

In the nite I went to Josh Movie Corner. I bought DVD 'Trainspotting', I was really glad to have it! Trainspotting is one of my fave films. I had watched it twice- at British Council in May 1999 and at British Film Festival in April 2001. Later on, I went to internet kiosk!

At home, till 2am [Sept 3] I still watched Trainspotting. The film is about 4 friends-a bunch of losers in a tight friendship. They are the drug addicts. One of the characters is Mark Renton starred by Ewan McGregor who tries to escape from such fuckin' life. I love his words: "Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin opener... choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit crushing game shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrasement to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?"

The songs in that film are bloody wonderful! They inspire me. 'Perfect Day' by Lou Reed reminds me of the past doin'...  and the other songs like 'Temptation' by New Order, 'Atomic' by Sleeper, the old song from Blondie, 'Sing' by Blur, etc are cool.

On Saturday, I could wake up regularly. Thank God! I did my morning activities such as making my room, watching DVD, listening to music, and ironing. I only had beefburger for my breakfast.

At 9am I left for Jakarta. I intended to visit my new friend,  Jay Bee in Menteng. I reached his place at 11am. Till 2.30pm, we had a light but serious chat about film, music, life, arts, culture, writing-blog, film festival, etc, etc. I did enjoy the conversation. For me it's such a bloody meaningful chat that widened my horizon. By 3pm, I left for TIM to have my late 'lunch' at AH. Then, I gathered with Oppie, Hotma, and Ellie at a cafe in TIM. We talked and talked! We talked about many things: about work, music, film, art & culture, love, relationship, friendship, fashion, writing-because Oppie and Hotma are journalists, traveling, tourism, food, past time, etc. We dismissed by 10.30pm.  I directly went to Bogor. I arrived at home in midnite. New day! Before going to sleep, I took a bath.

I really enjoyed my whole day because I met some friends and had a brilliant talk!

On Sunday, I woke up late. As usual, I did my morning activities. After having lunch, I left for Jkt. I went to my friend's house Jocky in Tebet. Then, I went to EX to meet Oppie, Hotma, and Ellie. While waiting for them, I visited my friend Faried in a boutique in Plaza Ind.

Later on, I met Oppie, Hotma, Ellie, and Ihda at EX. We had a chat in the foodcourt of Plaza Ind. In the nite, we went to Erasmus Huis to see Poem Reading and Krakatau Band. At 10am, we dismissed! I went home to Bogor. As I arrived at home by midnite, I realized that I had to work in the tomorrow. Gee!!!

Gosh! Thanx god, I could wake up in the regular time this morning. I think it's due to going to bed earlier last nite. I didn't do a fuckin' thing last night as I did in the previous nights - really, no watching on the fuckin' DVD, only  watchin' Rock Star-INXS  on "O"  Channel.
This morni', I think I was blessed not to have the lazy brain as usual. I did my task, I studied the competitor's works fluently. After that, I widened my horizon by reading Kompas, then had lunch, gathered with the office mates before back to work.
Now, it's 1.05pm. I think I have to pray... LOL.
After coming back from work, I plan to go to Jkt. I wanna fool around at EX!

I have no idea why these weeks I'm in bloody lazy situation. It's hard for me to wake up in the morning as a regular activity. In the working place, I lose my appetite to finish my tasks. Letalone, I'm confronted with the issue of presentation to the big boss. I've to review my previous tasks and compare them to the competitor's works. Yet, till now I don't finish!
I remember how hard to open my eyes this morning! I really woke up at 9, so I must come late to work. At the office, I  only did a little thing for my task - rest of my time is for reading Kompas, Tempo, and Republika while listening to OST 'GiE' many times.
At 5, I went to the gym in my office. I did a little excercise then back to work - still  accompanied with OST 'GiE' again and again from my portable CD player.
Hopefully, tonite I won't spend my time to watch any film from my fuckin' DVD player. It can kill me to stay up till 2am, and in the next morning I'll kill myself with laziness and impotent brain!
